MY PATH TO FREEDOM
Since I was 12 I loved making youtube videos.
What enticed me so much was that no matter what I was interested in at the time, whether it be-
- airsoft guns
- call of duty
- comedy skits
- fitness
- self development
I was able to make videos about it and find a community of likeminded people.
This stuck with me even when I started working.
I was a cashier, waiter, greeter, warehouse guy, customer service, and front desk at a gym.
About halfway through that list dropped out of college because I knew it wasn't the path I wanted.
Shit just got real.
I had to make content creation work. I was making under $2,000 a month at my job and I didn't want to go back to school
I'm desperately trying to grow on youtube, following the common advice of "be yourself" and "post consistently."
Nothing.
Finally, I decided to take a different approach.
I made an educational video sharing my perspective on building muscle as a skinny guy.
I packaged it well, and hit upload.
That video now has over 2,000,000 views.
My eyes have been opened.
I realized I am capable of:
- Getting high amounts of views without getting lucky.
- Writing compelling content that keeps them engaged.
- Actually helping people with my content.
I wish I could say it was all up from there, but it wasn't.
I struggled to get a consistent viewership. I made a little bit of money from the ad revenue but not enough to make a difference.

Around the same time I began studying psychology (I had issues I needed to fix).
